Proverbs 3:9-10

9 Honor the Lord with your wealth,
with the firstfruits of all your crops;
10 then your barns will be filled to overflowing,
and your vats will brim over with new wine.

A message from Pastor Tung

Starting this Sunday, we’ll be following the “Lectionary” schedule of scriptures followed by many congregations.

I personally use the lectionary as a simple way to read devotionally from the whole range of the books of the Bible,

I encourage you to read this coming Sunday’s scriptures in advance.
They are: 1 Samuel 1.4-20, 2.1-10; Hebrews 10.11-18; and Mark 13.1-8

Scriptures

Though I will not be preaching from all four of these scriptures, I invite you to read them through.  In worship on Sunday, I will encourage questions and comments on any of them — and through them, God is speaking to you, and to all of us.

Praise, My Soul, the King of Heaven

Praise, my soul, the King of heaven;
to his feet your tribute bring.
Ransomed, healed, restored, forgiven,

evermore his praises sing.
Alleluia, alleluia!
Praise the everlasting King!

Praise him for his grace and favor
to his people in distress.
Praise him, still the same as ever,
slow to chide, and swift to bless.
Alleluia, alleluia!
Glorious in his faithfulness!

Fatherlike he tends and spares us;
well our feeble frame he knows.
In his hand he gently bears us,
rescues us from all our foes.
Alleluia, alleluia!
Widely yet his mercy flows!

Angels, help us to adore him;
you behold him face to face.
Sun and moon, bow down before him,
dwellers all in time and space.
Alleluia, alleluia!
Praise with us the God of grace!
